Did you know you can leave a comment on Announcements we have made on our website? (like this one?…yes!!). We can then make your comment public so if others had the same comment or question to that announcement, they can chime in or just follow the string. Its our own version of FB…ok, not really but you get my point!

For those that do not know, that is the traditional start of the Mt Washington Road Race! Wanna sign up for the lottery of this classic New England runner rite of passage?
We have created a team code for the lottery so a bunch of us can all go together! It is an all in or no one in entry (you can choose to enter by yourself if you want) but this is a race to experience with those you dig running with. 7.6 Miles with 4200′ of elevation.

By now you should have received an email from BallotBin.com to vote for Board Officers. If you have not received, please check your folder likely marked ‘favorite AARC folder that I don’t check much’. If you are not into winter running, maybe you have it labeled ‘junk’.
Results will be made public with swearing in to follow at February’s board meeting to take place at Stark Brewing Company. (ok, no swearing in, just a beer and a potato skin or 2 …and yes, that is the meeting on February 5th)
Maybe you have some ideas that we can assign to a committee? Maybe you want to help on a committee? Maybe you just like potato skins? If you are hard core, you are looking for someone to run with. I would say someone at the meeting is a runner so show up!

Do you or another AARC runner you know have what it takes to lead our club? Then submit your nomination for club president, vice president, treasurer or secretary by Sunday, Jan. 21. (Yes, that’s this coming Sunday!)

You can nominate yourself and if you decide to nominate someone else, please check with that person first to ensure they are willing to take on the responsibility. Coach Porter is going live on WMUR Saturday at 5pm. (yes this Saturday…). He is being interviewed by anchor Cherise Leclerc. About what you might ask? You will just have to watch and see. Maybe he will mention your name!! The segment will actually air around 5:15pm but really, you should get a good seat on the couch!!!
